I had the same thought, the Painting-A-Day thing, and managed for a while but then started posting old paintings, thumbnails, etc. when I didn't get something done. Then, we got some weather lately (I live in Moorhead, MN) and have fallen so far out of routine I can't even bring myself to sketch while snowbound here on dike-watch.....don't be "daunted" as you already know it's not about the paintings, it's about the brushmiles, the building of committment or discipline one stroke at a time. I look forward to watching your month progress, and I'm going to make myself a promise to try to match your daily discipline (but not your output or routine. Can't really justify setting out the old easel next to the river while others are sandbagging, you know?) Good painting, Jan
